Scholarships and discounts

You can create scholarships or discounts that apply to a child's product subscriptions, reducing the amount on future invoices.

Getting there

Open a child's profile and go to the Subscriptions tab. Below the list of active subscriptions, you see an Active discounts section.

Creating a discount

1. Click Add discount (or Add scholarship).
2. Enter:
   • Name -- a label for the discount (e.g., "Sibling discount", "Merit scholarship").
   • Product scope -- which product subscription the discount applies to, or all products.
   • Value -- either a percentage (e.g., 20%) or a fixed amount (e.g., $100/month).
   • End date -- optional. If set, the discount expires automatically on this date.
3. Click Save.

What parents see

Parents see their child's active discounts on the Subscriptions tab of the child's profile. Each discount shows the name, scope, value, and optional end date in green styling.

Tips

• Use descriptive names so families understand why the discount exists.
• Set end dates for temporary discounts to avoid forgetting to remove them.
• Discounts are applied automatically to future invoices. Existing sent invoices are not retroactively adjusted.
