After-school clubs

Clubs are extra activities your school runs outside the regular classroom, like soccer, chess, or art. From the Clubs tab on your school dashboard you can see what is on offer, sign a child up, and keep track of their spots.

Browsing clubs

1. Go to the Clubs tab on your school dashboard.
2. You see a list of the clubs the school runs. Each one shows:
   • Name and description of the activity.
   • Schedule -- the days and times it meets.
   • Fee -- the cost to join, if the club is paid. Free clubs show no fee.

Not every school runs clubs. If you do not see a Clubs tab, your school has not turned the feature on.

Subscribing a child

1. Open the club you want.
2. Choose the child you are signing up.
3. Confirm the subscription.

If the club has a fee, the fee is charged through your school's billing. Paid club charges show up alongside your other invoices on the Payments tab.

Some clubs need the school's approval before a spot is confirmed. In that case your child's status shows as pending until a staff member approves it.

Your child's clubs and their status

Once a child is subscribed, their clubs appear on the Clubs tab with a status:

• Active -- the spot is confirmed.
• Pending -- the school still needs to approve the request.
• Withdrawn -- the child has left the club.

Withdrawing from a club

If your child is no longer taking part, open their club and choose Withdraw. The spot is released. If you withdraw from a paid club, contact the school about any refund, since that is handled in billing.

Scheduling a club absence

If your child will miss a single session, you can let the school know ahead of time:

1. Open your child's club.
2. Choose to schedule an absence.
3. Pick the date they will miss and add an optional note.

This tells the club's staff not to expect your child that day. It does not cancel the subscription.

Tips

• Sign up early. Clubs can have limited spots.
• Check the schedule against your pickup plans before you subscribe.
• For a pending club, watch the status. You are not confirmed until it turns active.
