Managing notification preferences

Notification settings

You can control which email notifications you receive from FutureNerds.

Getting there

1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the navigation bar.
2. Click Profile Settings.
3. Click the Notifications tab.

What you can control

From the Notifications tab you can turn on or off email notifications for:

• New messages in your classroom boards.
• Posts and announcements.
• Attendance updates.
• Other school communications.

Changes take effect immediately.

Tips

• Keep message notifications on so you do not miss important communication from teachers.
• If you find emails overwhelming, turn off post notifications and check the Posts tab on the dashboard instead.
• The daily parent digest email (if your school sends one) is controlled separately by the school administrator.
